Welder Fitter

Job Description Seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder with WABO certification in FCAW for structural steel work. Must have strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to fit and weld components to exact specifications while meeting quality and safety standards. This is a Temp-to-hire role.Compensation: $32-34/hrSchedule: Monday - Thursday, 630 am - 4:30 pm OR Monday - Thursday 430 pm - 3 am, OT as neededLocation: Orting, WAResponsibilitiesMeasure, cut, and fit structural steel per blueprints. Perform FCAW welding to industry and WABO standards. Interpret blueprints and work orders with precision. Inspect welds and ensure compliance with safety standards. Operate welding and cutting tools safely. Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines. Maintain welding equipment. RequirementsWABO certified in FCAW. 4+ years of experience in structural steel welding/fitting. Proficient in reading blueprints. Strong welding and technical skills. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions. Attention to detail and safety-oriented.
