Committed to quality, safety, and innovation, we work collaboratively with partners to elevate and protect their brands.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Painter to paint structural steel, plate and sheet and other surfaces. Your job will be important since good painting has both practical and aesthetic benefits.An excellent painter is knowledgeable in selecting the right material for their job. They have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable and deft as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties.The Painter will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal components as part of our industrial steel production process. Daily tasks include surface preparation, paint mixing, spray painting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements. The Painter will collaborate closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules and maintain a clean, organized workspace.The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work.This is a full-time, on-site Painter role based in Spring Grove, MN. QualificationsRead blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.Make on-site preparations such as scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, blasting, may require removing old paint at times.Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.Familiarity with industrial painting equipment and safety practicesAttention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workAbility to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in industrial or structural steel painting is advantageousRequirementsProven experience as a painterExcellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them.Solid knowledge of equipment, construction painting techniquesAptitude in using appropriate tools (bushes, spray guns, etc.)Good basic math skills.Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work scaffolding, ladders, etc.Conscientious with great attention to detail.High school diploma, successful completion of an apprenticeship program, work experience as a painterBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceOn-the-job trainingOpportunities for advancementPaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceWork Location: In person
