Techtronics Instructor

Job Summary Instructors for ITEC's Techtronics programs will help 4th‐8th grade students in the Lansing School District build 21st Century Learning Skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, and communication and collaboration. This will be accomplished through fun and exciting classes, such as Lego Robotics, Game Design, Web Design, and Mobile App Design. This is a tremendous opportunity to work with and build crucial learning skills in local youth, as well as develop teaching skills. Instructors are expected to develop mentoring relationships over the course of the school year, have an enthusiasm for using technology in learning, and have a willingness to acquire new skills. Requirements: Successful Techtronics Instructors will have: Proven experience working with children, especially in an educational setting. Enthusiasm for working with technology. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Availability between 3:30pm – 5:30pm at least twice per week.
