Join PMI.How You'll Make a DifferenceThe PMIxAI Community Lead is a visible, high-impact role that serves as an AI domain expert and advocate for AI within the project management profession. This role strengthens PMI's position to continue to lead the AI transformation of project management and the project management of AI transformations by ensuring our products, narratives, thought leadership, and community engagement consistently embody the PMIxAI vision and meet the needs of a global audience.
As a key member of the AI Engagement & Community team, you will help shape how AI shows up across PMI by helping support development and delivery of AI content, evaluating product and learning experiences, representing PMI in speaking engagements, and amplifying AI insights within and beyond our community. This role requires strong subject matter expertise, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a passion for helping project professionals understand and adopt AI responsibly and effectively.What You'll Bring to the Role5+ years of experience in AI, technology strategy, thought leadership, product advisory, innovation, or a related domain.
Demonstrated ability to speak confidently and compellingly to large and diverse audiences.
Experience translating complex technical concepts into accessible explanations for practitioners.
Background in project delivery, change management, or adjacent fields is an advantage.
Deep understanding of AI concepts, emerging practices, and their implications for project management.
Exceptional presentation skills.
Strong analytical and evaluative skills for reviewing content, product experiences, and thought leadership.
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Comfortable and productive working in a virtual environment, engaging with global audiences and tailoring messages accordingly.
