Loan ProcessorFirst Bank and Trust is seeking a Loan Processor in Bristol, TN to join our team. Loan Processors support Loan Officers by facilitating new loan and renewal loan closings to ensure all loans are processed correctly according to the bank's policies and procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Review, verify, and process loan applications for accuracy and completeness.Ensure loans comply with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Communicate with loan officers, applicants, and third parties to gather required documentation.Input loan data into internal systems and maintain accurate recordsMonitor loan files and follow up on outstanding documentation to meet deadlines.Provide timely updates to the loan officers and applicants throughout the loan process.Monitor maturing loans and collections reports.Process paid off loans to include preparing and recording Deed of Trust Releases, Certificates of Satisfaction, and title releasesAnswer the phone and assist customers with balance inquiries, transfers, payments, etc.Be knowledgeable about and cross sell all First Bank and Trust products and services.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent - requiredAssociate's degree - Accounting, Business, Finance, Communications, and/or Marketing - preferredThree or more years of customer service experience or loan experience - preferredStrong listening, written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Benefits:PTO Leave is 20 days per year earned on a monthly basisFirst Bank and Trust recognizes 11 paid holidays, when the holidays occur during the work weekMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance starts the 1st day of the month after hire dateEmployees are automatically enrolled in the bank's 401K/ESOP PlanFirst Bank and Trust provides basic life insurance coverage equal to two times an employee's base salaryFirst Bank and Trust provides long-term disability insurance coverageNormal work week is Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:00 at the branch location.First Bank and Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer EOE/AA/M/F/Disabled/Veteran
