Senior HVAC Project Manager Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.Position Type: Full-time salaried role that is eligible for performance bonusCompensation: $115,000 - $150,000 Annual Salary + potential for up to 20% discretionary annual bonusJob Summary:We are seeking a Senior HVAC Project Manager to lead and execute residential HVAC operations in Connecticut. This individual will serve as the HVAC license holder of record (S1 or D1) and be responsible for ensuring all HVAC work is performed in compliance with state and local regulations.This role combines hands-on project management with technical leadership and compliance oversight. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution, manage subcontractors, and support the growth of the HVAC department. This individual will also play a key role in overseeing in-house HVAC installation teams across Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, ensuring high-quality workmanship, operational efficiency, and consistency in execution. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.License Holder & ComplianceServe as the HVAC license holder of record for Connecticut operationsEnsure all work meets state codes, permitting requirements, and inspection standardsAct as point of contact for inspectors and municipalitiesOwn installation quality, reducing callbacks, failures, and reworkProject & Install ExecutionManage HVAC projects from pre-install QC through completionPlan, schedule, and coordinate installs to meet production targetsMonitor job progress, resolve issues, and ensure on-time deliveryMaintain visibility into pipeline, backlog, and install capacityField & Subcontractor ManagementOversee in-house install teams across CT and Western MARecruit, manage, and hold subcontractors accountable to standardsProvide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and support crewsConduct site visits and quality audits as neededScoping, Readiness & Process ImprovementReview and QC scoped jobs to ensure they are install-readyValidate system design, materials, and job feasibilityIdentify issues early to avoid delays and cost overrunsHelp build and improve processes, SOPs, and install standardsPerform additional tasks as requiredEducation & Experience:Required: S1 or D1 HVAC Contractor License (Connecticut)Must be eligible to serve as license holder of record7+ years HVAC experience (install, service, or project management)Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems (heat pumps, ductless, etc.)Experience managing install teams and/or subcontractorsStrong understanding of codes, permitting, and inspectionsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPerks/Benefits:Eligible for an annual on-target performance bonus paid quarterly.Company car provided.Gas card provided.Growth potential in a fast-growing company.This position will have hybrid work opportunities available with the occasional travel to the Fairfield, CT office throughout the week. When working remotely, the employee is required to have a workspace free of distraction during work hours to perform job duties.Physical Demands:Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, performing tasks on a computer, the ability to move within the office to attend meetings, access equipment, or interact with colleagues.While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces.
