We recognize family as the cornerstone of our company, and want you to be part of a team that values your contributions and well-being.We value our families and community:Flexible ScheduleHardship Program- program to support staff during challenging timesPatriot Cares- nonprofit for community outreachHow we support you professionally:This position is paid at a competitive per diem visit rateCompany 401K with 4% company matchingThe responsibilities of our Physical Therapist Assistants Include:Under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (PT), provide patient services which have been delegated by the PTUnder the supervision of the PT, assist in evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care and in periodic re-evaluation as requiredParticipate in the preparation of clinical and daily progress notesAssume other duties deemed appropriate and necessary by the PT and as designated by the Registered Nurse Case Management and the Nursing SupervisorJob Conditions:The ability to drive and ability to access patients' homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible are requiredHearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the patient's condition and to perform patient careOn occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move patient weight up to 250 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 poundsQualifications:Must be a graduate of an approved school giving a course of not less than two years for Physical Therapy AssistantsMust be licensed by the State as a Physical Therapy AssistantMust have a criminal background checkMust have a current CPR (BLS) certificationPatriot Homecare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
