This is a specialized, full-time role focused exclusively on Cardio Metabolic Assessment Testing (CMAT). The selected candidate will be fully trained on CMAT procedures and will be responsible for guiding patients through the pre-testing questionnaire process, accurately entering clinical data into the EMR, performing CMAT assessments, documenting results in the patient chart, and communicating findings to the treating provider. This position also carries responsibility for tracking and reporting CMAT productivity using IMS reporting tools. No prior CMAT experience is required. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized clinical team member who takes ownership of their workflow and is committed to consistent, high-quality patient care.Location: 504 Brookwood Blvd, Homewood, AL 35209Key Responsibilities: Guide patients through completion of the CMAT pre-testing questionnaire, ensuring accuracy and thoroughnessEnter patient questionnaire responses and relevant clinical information accurately into IMS (EMR)Perform CMAT procedures in accordance with established protocols, demonstrating appropriate technique and patient coachingScan and upload completed CMAT results into the patient chart in IMSCommunicate CMAT findings to the treating provider in a timely and organized mannerGenerate and maintain CMAT productivity tracking reports using IMS reporting toolsMonitor and track CMAT supply inventory; notify management when supplies reach reorder thresholdKeep testing areas well stocked, clean, and properly prepared for each patient encounterDisplay a high level of professionalism in all patient and parent interactions, adhering to HIPAA standardsCommunicate effectively and in a timely manner with the Department Lead and/or management team regarding clinical, supply, or operational mattersPerform other job-related duties as assignedThis position may be required to travel to other clinics for staffing needsQualifications, Education, and Experience: Previous experience working with patients in a medical setting requiredNo prior CMAT experience required; full training on CMAT procedures will be providedCompletion of a Medical Assistant program and Medical Assistant certification preferredUnderstanding of basic medical terminologyExperience with EMR documentation; IMS experience a plusExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwarePhysical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods and communicate effectively, including speaking and hearingRegular use of hands and arms to write, type, and operate office equipmentOccasional physical movement, including reaching, bending, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and sensing odorsAbility to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and occasional overhead reachingAbility to lift and carry moderate weights (up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly) while maintaining visual focus and awarenessWhy Join AllerVie?When you join AllerVie Health, you become part of a purpose-driven team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate allergy care.
