Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Support Coach role located in South Windham, CT. In this role, the Support Coach will assist individuals with special needs in achieving personal goals and supporting their daily activities. Responsibilities include facilitating participation in community engagement opportunities, supporting life-skills development, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence. The Support Coach will work closely with individuals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters their well-being and growth. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support individuals with diverse needs.Ability to assist with daily living tasks and provide individualized care.Organizational and problem-solving skills to facilitate life-skills development and community participation.Compassion, patience, and a commitment to creating an inclusive environment.Experience in working with individuals with special needs is preferred, but not required.High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in social work, human services, or related fields is a plus.Ability to work on-site in South Windham, CT and maintain a flexible part-time schedule.
