This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys hands‑on technical work, and takes ownership of defining, building, and operationalizing business metrics that drive decision‑making.You will work closely with cross‑functional partners to translate business questions into data solutions, develop scalable analytics, and deliver insights that influence strategy and execution.ResponsibilitiesOwn the definition, development, and ongoing maintenance of key business metrics used by leadership and operating teamsWrite complex, performant SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasetsUse Python to perform advanced analysis, automate workflows, and build reproducible analytical pipelinesPartner with product, sales, operations, and finance teams to understand business needs and turn them into actionable insightsDevelop dashboards, reports, and analyses that clearly communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholdersEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business definitionsProactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the dataContribute to improving analytics best practices, data models, and documentationQualifications3–4 years of professional experience in analytics, data analysis, or a related roleDeep, hands‑on experience with SQL (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning)Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, numpy, data visualization, automation)Proven experience owning and generating business metrics in a professional or business contextStrong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skillsAbility to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsMBA or equivalent graduate degree (1–2 years experience post‑MBA or during MBA)Experience working in a high‑growth, fast‑moving, or ambiguous environmentFamiliarity with modern data stacks (e.g., cloud data warehouses, BI tools, data transformation frameworks)Experience influencing business decisions through data, not just reporting resultsWhat Success Looks LikeYou are a go‑to owner for critical metrics and analysis in your domainStakeholders trust your data and seek out your insightsYou balance technical depth with strong business intuitionYour work directly impacts strategic and operational decisions at Quest Why Quest At Quest, Your Work Makes An Impact.
