Job Role: AI Governance SpecialistLocation: Dallas, TX – 5 days a week 8-4 is the shift – Need Locals OnlyEligibility: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4EADDuration: 9 month rolling contractPay Rate: $75-$80/hr. on W2 Must Haves:10 years Min with Retail knowledgeExperience in data governance or data stewardship, including 3–5 years focused on AI/ML dataExperience working with enterprise-scale data platforms and large organizationsJob Description: Experience10–15 years in data governance or data stewardship, including 3–5 years focused on AI/ML dataExperience working with enterprise-scale data platforms and large organizationsTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of AI/ML data pipelines: ingestion, labeling, feature engineering, model trainingFamiliarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, DatabricksExperience with data governance/catalog tools (Collibra, Atlan, Alation, Informatica)Working knowledge of SQL and basic PythonExperience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)Understanding of feature stores, model registries, and data versioningGovernance & ComplianceAbility to develop and enforce AI data governance policiesKnowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and responsible AI guidelinesExperience conducting bias reviews, data quality checks, and maintaining data lineageBusiness & Leadership SkillsStrong analytical thinking with the ability to translate insights into recommendationsExcellent communication skills across executive and technical teamsProven ability to lead cross‑functional governance discussions and drive adoptionExperience in process improvement and implementing governance workflowsSoft SkillsDetail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple prioritiesStrong stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skillsSelf‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a rapidly evolving AI environment
