This role includes assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, coordinating care plans, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical settingAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedMonitor patient progress and report changes in conditionCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teamsMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation using CernerEducate patients and families on treatment plans and care instructionsAdhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standardsFloat to other units as required based on staffing needsParticipate in on-call rotation as assignedRequired Qualifications:License: Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License requiredCertification: Registered Nurse (RN) requiredExperience: Medical Surgical nursing experience requiredCharting System: Experience with Cerner preferredAvailability: Must be able to work night shifts and flexible schedulingAdditional Requirements:Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environmentMust be open to floating between units as neededMust be reliable and able to commit to full assignment durationStrong clinical judgment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesVaccination Requirements:COVID-19 Vaccine: Not requiredFlu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)Benefits:?
