Custom Shop Production Assistant

Hesseling Precision is a custom coating and laser shop specializing in Cerakote application, firearm customization, and laser engraving. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, entry-level position where you will receive training on all aspects of our production process, from preparing parts to final packaging. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the desire to learn a skilled trade. Responsibilities · Assist with the preparation of custom parts for the coating process, which may include cleaning, sanding, masking, and sandblasting. · Help load and unload parts from production racks and transport them to and from work areas. · Work alongside experienced technicians to learn proper coating application techniques . · Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet our high standards. · Assist with the final assembly, packaging, and shipping of customer orders. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures. · Perform general shop duties and assist the production team as needed with other job-related projects. Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent. · Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work. · Ability to learn new skills and follow instructions precisely. · Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. · Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. · A reliable and punctual team player with a positive attitude. · Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus but not required.
