Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in an assisted living setting. - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Administer medications (no medication passage overnight but will be trained) according to prescribed schedules and document accurately. - Overnight Cleaning - Implement individualized care plans and ensure resident safety. - Promote resident independence and respect their rights and dignity. - Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities. - Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents. Experience: - Previous experience with persons with mental health diagnosis - Familiarity with medication administration protocols is desired. Skills: - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and the care team. - Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care to individuals - Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
