Gastroenterology Hospitalist Opportunity in Palm Beach Area, Florida

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our dynamic inpatient care teams, part of a well-established GI service line, at Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital East and Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital West, both located in Boynton Beach, Florida.Full-Time Opportunity (7 on/7 off shift model; 24-hour shifts)Candidate will be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), with fellowship training in GastroenterologyAt least two years in an inpatient setting is requiredRequirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialingAs a GI Hospitalist, you will oversee inpatient and/or ED consults, manage GI-related admissions, provide comprehensive evaluation and management of hospitalized adult/geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions, and coordinate care with the broader GI and hospital medicine teamsPatient volume is approximately 20-30 patients per dayProcedures to be provided bedside and/or at endoscopy suiteSeeking candidates whose focus is on quality, excellent patient-centered care, exhibit professional demeanor, and promote collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environmentCompensation commensurate with training and experience; benefits designed to support your professional and personal growth and include options for medical and dental benefits, generous paid time off, CME allowance, access to Baptist Health University for professional growth, and moreIn addition, Florida enjoys no State income tax #J-18808-Ljbffr
