We are excited about the opportunity to work with you and glad you want to be part of a team of talented individuals who together are changing the way the world communicates.Requisition ID: 76987DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced MES Manager to lead a global team on the operation, support, and standardization of our PROMIS Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and its integration with advanced semiconductor factory systems and enterprise platforms.This role combines people leadership, technical system ownership, operational excellence, and vendor governance to ensure our MES ecosystem delivers high availability, scalability, and performance in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.You will own both application functionality and backend reliability, driving global standards while ensuring stable day-to-day production operations.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead, coach, and develop a team of MES engineers and analystsSet priorities and manage resources across projects and production supportEstablish on-call and Tier 1/2/3 support processes for 24x7 fab operationsMES OwnershipOwn configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of the PROMIS MESStandardize models, workflows, routing, dispatching, and material control in PROMISDrive reusable templates and global best practicesLead upgrades, patches, and system enhancementsBackend & High AvailabilityAccountable for MES backend architecture including servers, databases, middleware, and interfacesEnsure performance, scalability, and system stabilityDesign and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutionsLead monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysisMeet defined uptime and reliability targets (99.9%+)Maintenance & Vendor ManagementManage MES maintenance and support contractsOwn vendor relationships, SLAs, licensing, and renewalsCoordinate vendor support during incidents and upgradesManage operational and support budgetsFactory Systems IntegrationGovern Integrations WithAPC / Run-to-Run ControlRTD / DispatchEquipment Integration (SECS/GEM)RMS / FDC / SPCAMHS and material systemsERP/SAP and data platformsCollaborate to define global interface standards, APIs, and data integrity practicesOperations & Continuous ImprovementEnsure reliable 24x7 MES operationsLead incident and problem managementTrack KPIs (availability, MTTR, performance)Drive automation and cycle time improvementsSupport new tool onboarding, new part introduction and fab ramp activitiesRequired Experience And SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with minimum of 12 years' applicable experience7+ years experience with semiconductor manufacturing and manufacturing systems3+ years leading technical or support teamsHands-on experience with PROMIS MESExperience integrating MES with APC, EI, RTD, RMS, SPC or similar factory systemsExperience supporting mission-critical systems in a 24x7 environmentKnowledge of databases, system architecture, and troubleshootingExperience managing vendors and support contractsDesired Experience And SkillsExperience working in 300mm fully automated fabMulti-site or global fab experienceKnowledge of SEMI standards (E30, E40, E87, E90, E94)SAP or enterprise system integrationCloud or hybrid infrastructure experienceThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $129,400 - $247,800 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
