Senior Windchill Developer Senior Windchill Developer US Citizenship Required Birlasoft is currently seeking a strong Java developer who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers to join our Extended Product LifeCycle Management (EPLM) Team. The developer will be involved in all phases of projects, from analysis of client's needs to implementation, customization, and reporting on a variety of solutions. The developer will be dealing with large, high profile clients in the medical, automotive, defense, and manufacturing industries and will be required to configure and customize solutions to the client's complex needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to provide support along with strong technical knowledge. The expectation is this person would have 5+ years of experience with Windchill development. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Developing and maintaining software using Java and enterprise system APIsActively participating in all stages of the implementation project from development through testingDeveloping relationships with the clients and supporting them during the project lifecycleMeeting with and utilizing teammates' expertise to maximize project efficiencyDocumenting methods and lessons learned EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Prior experience with Aerospace and Defense industry a major plusExperience with various forms of Windchill Report Capability (Jasper, QML, etc.)Experience with heavily customized Windchill systemsWindchill Upgrade experienceSome travel requiredBachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science and equivalent experience in the development industryExperience with Java programming, specifically with Windchill APIExperience with ERP integrations preferredWeb-based development experience (JSP, Javascript, MVC, Spring) preferredIn Depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development preferredDatabase experience (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus Area(s) of responsibility
