This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‐paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. A hybrid working model is acceptable.Future Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and build backend platforms, integration services, and governance‐as‐code solutions that support model lifecycle governance and auditability. This role plays a key part in enabling enterprise‐scale API development and backend services for model management, monitoring, and compliance.Develop secure and scalable APIs, integrate model metadata and approval workflows with enterprise governance systems, and support dashboards tied to Model Performance Management (MPM). The position requires close collaboration with platform, governance, finance, and engineering teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and production‐ready solutions.This is a hybrid role based in Reston, requiring three days onsite and two days remote per week.Required Qualifications7+ years backend development experience using Python, Java, or Node.jsProven experience building and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIsHands‐on experience integrating applications with AWS servicesSolid understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth, JWT, IAM, etc.)Experience managing secrets and implementing secure integration patternsFamiliarity with monitoring, logging, and governance toolingExperience designing scalable backend architectures in cloud environmentsUnderstanding of AI/ML‐adjacent services and model lifecycle concepts (preferred)Ability to work cross‐functionally with governance, engineering, and finance teamsStrong debugging, testing, and SDLC execution skillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Other InformationCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
