Job DescriptionAs a General Manager at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will oversee the Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) segment, driving the development and execution of the global Strategic Plan (STRAP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Morris Plains, NJ, and reports to the Vice President of Building Solutions, Intermediates and Healthcare. The role requires a minimum of 20% travel.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the global Strategic Plan (STRAP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the LOB, aligned with corporate growth targetsIdentify key market trends (e.g., regulatory shifts, sustainability drivers, feedstock dynamics) to shape product strategy and innovation pipelineDrive competitive positioning through market segmentation, pricing strategy, and customer value differentiationLead all aspects of P&L for the business and monitor key financial KPIsOversee global commercial strategy, including channel management, pricing, contract strategy, and key account developmentWork closely with R&D, Product Management, and Regulatory Affairs to manage the lifecycle of the product portfolioAccelerate new product introductions with focus on sustainability, performance differentiation, and regulatory complianceLead a diverse and cross-functional team across commercial, technical, and operational rolesAttract, develop, and retain key talent with a focus on inclusion, engagement, and leadership pipeline developmentQualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree Minimum of 8 years of experience in the chemical or oil and gas industryStrong track record of leading P&L and delivering sustainable financial and operational resultsDeep understanding of chemical market dynamics, supply chain complexities, regulatory environments, and customer applicationsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and teams in matrixed environmentsStrong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and technical orientationWE VALUEMBA or advanced degreeStrong sales and product marketing acumen, particularly in new market spacesBusiness acumen and knowledge of financial metricsStrong analytical skills and ability to leverage analytical tools (Microsoft Suite/PowerPoint and Excel)Strong portfolio management skillsAbility to guide and develop a high-performing teamExecutive-level written/verbal communication skillsCompensationThe annual base salary range for this position is $202,238-$252,798. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
