Apply now!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented FP&A & BI Analyst to join our Finance team at our manufacturing facility. This role combines financial planning and analysis responsibilities with ownership of business intelligence and data analytics initiatives within the finance function.The ideal candidate has strong experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and financial planning, combined with advanced MS Power BI and data analytics capabilities. This individual will help modernize reporting processes, strengthen KPI governance, and deliver actionable insights to both Finance and Operations leadership.Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain MS Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for Finance and OperationsAutomate recurring reporting and improve reporting efficiency across the finance functionBuild and maintain data models and ensure consistency of financial and operational dataTranslate complex data into actionable insights to support decision-makingStrengthen KPI tracking and governance across the manufacturing siteAct as the key analytical partner to the Controller and operations leadershipPrepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations to the site leadership teamSupport the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts, and month end closing processesSupport cost structure analysis, standard cost updates, and cost roll processCollaborate with Operations to analyze inventory levels, trends, obsolescence risks, and support working capital optimization initiativesQualificationsBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong experience in FP&A and cost accountingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (dashboard development, data modeling, DAX)Strong MS Excel and financial modeling skillsExperience supporting budgeting and forecasting processesSolid understanding of manufacturing KPIs, cost drivers, and operational performance metricsExperience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with SQL, Python, or other data analytics toolsExperience working with ERP SAP 4/HANAExposure to automation or finance digitalization initiativesExperience improving reporting systems or BI solutionsAdditional InformationThe anticipated starting salary for this position is $110,000.Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
