Residential Home Designer/Draftsperson

Position Overview: We’re currently looking for an experienced Draftsperson/Home Designer to join our skilled team. This role is ideal for a detailed-orientated individual with a creative eye and a technical mind. Experience in technical drafting and residential home design is required. Key Responsibilities:Work with our Project Managers and customers to discuss plan designsCreate and modify detailed residential and commercial plans; primarily steel construction buildings and/or barndominiumsPrepare comprehensive construction documents, including dimensioned floor plans, electrical designs, elevations, roof plans, renderings, etc.Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure plans meet applicable building codes, zoning requirements and customer preferencesMaintain organized, version-controlled drawing files Qualifications:Proven experience as a Home Designer/Draftsman or CAD Technician in residential and/or commercial constructionProficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect or similarStrong understanding of construction and design principlesFamiliarity with US building codes and general permitting requirementsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and collaboration skillsHow to Apply: Send your resume and cover letter to finecutcon@gmail.com.
