This role is designed as a full-time, paid (monthly stipend) post-graduate internship opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in sports management, live event operations, and community engagement.The Fan Experience Coordinator will play a key role in planning, executing, and enhancing the fan experience at Havoc home games, community events, and Kids Club activations. This individual will also serve as a primary point of contact for fans visiting the front office and assist in managing mascot appearances, ticket sales, and the Havoc Rewards App.Key ResponsibilitiesGame Operations & Fan ExperienceAssist in planning and executing all Havoc home gamesCoordinate intermission entertainment, in-game promotions, and theme night elementsHelp create and maintain a high-energy, engaging game atmosphereAssist with game day set-up and post-game tear-downSupport specialty activations and post-game fan experiencesWork closely with promotions, production, and ticketing departments to ensure seamless executionMascot Coordination & BookingsManage mascot scheduling, community appearances, and bookingsServe as primary point of contact for mascot logistics and communicationsAssist with mascot game-night planning and performance flowCoordinate confirmations, contracts (if applicable), and follow-up communicationSupport mascot merchandise and promotional initiativesCommunity EngagementAssist with planning and executing community events and outreach initiativesRepresent the organization at local schools, sponsor activations, nonprofit events, and appearancesServe as a professional and positive "face of the franchise" within the communityHelp strengthen relationships with local partners and organizationsHavoc Rewards App OperationsLearn and manage the ins and outs of the Havoc Rewards AppFulfill rewards orders and maintain inventoryAssist fans with app questions and troubleshootingSupport initiatives to increase engagement and participationKids Club & Membership EngagementAssist in planning and executing Kids Club eventsCoordinate membership package assembly and distributionCommunicate with parents and members regarding benefits and event detailsSupport check-in and event management on Kids Club game daysFront Office, Ticket Sales & Fan ServicesServe as the first point of contact for fans visiting the Havoc officeSell single-game tickets and assist with ticket inquiries via phone and in personProvide outstanding customer service across all communication channelsMaintain a professional and welcoming front-office environmentAssist other departments as needed during peak periodsQualificationsBachelor's degree required (Sports Management, Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred)Strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, live-event environmentWillingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays during hockey seasonCreative thinker with strong attention to detailEnergetic personality with excellent interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and team-first mentalityAbility to lift and move event materials (up to 40 lbs)Ideal CandidateThis role is ideal for a recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in professional sports. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and excited about being directly involved in creating memorable fan experiences both inside the arena and throughout the community.
