After an application is submitted, the Nutrition Services Manager will contact applicants for interviews on an as-needed basis.Job Summary:Nutrition Services staff provides our students with breakfast and lunch. Primary responsibility is for the preparation and service of meals that ensure federal USDA meal regulation and food safety compliance cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facility, possible operation of a computerized POS system, and the moving of food and non-food items. These tasks are fast-paced and repetitive in a loud kitchen environment.Hourly rate: $15Work hours: Start times vary depending on location site, but most positions work between the hours of 8 am. - 2:30 pmWork year: 9 months (on-call)This position is non-benefitted.Job QualificationsThe following are required:* Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds* Obtain a Food Handler card within 30 days after hire.Applicants must attend orientation and be approved by human resources prior to working.
