.NET Principal Software Architect

As part of a strategic application modernization and platform transformation initiative, we are looking for a Principal Software Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction of complex software platforms spanning on-device applications, cloud environments, and SaaS solutions.MissionsDefine and drive end-to-end software architecture strategy across device, application, cloud, and SaaS platforms.Lead architecture/design reviews and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.Provide hands-on expertise across C++, C#, .NET, Node.js and React.Modernize legacy ASP.NET MVC / AngularJS applications toward modern React-based architectures.Architect secure REST APIs and Azure/AWS cloud solutions.Design and improve enterprise CI/CD and DevOps practices.Establish architecture governance through HLDs, LLDs, ADRs, interface contracts and technical standards.Drive application security, IAM, TLS/SSL, encryption and secrets-management standards.Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with product, business and compliance stakeholders.Required Profile12+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years as a Principal Engineer or Software Architect.Expert-level experience with C++, C#, .NET Framework, Web API, WCF, Node.js and React.Strong experience with Azure AD, MSAL, JWT and enterprise IAM.Strong SQL Server architecture and performance-tuning experience.Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.Strong CI/CD, DevOps, cloud migration and application modernization expertise.Experience with IIS, PowerShell, TLS/SSL and application security.Previous experience within Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Healthcare Technology or Industrial IoT strongly preferred.Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.
