American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN for a field-based position covering the Houston market, requiring a minimum of 2 years of home health experience and a valid TX or compact RN license.Job Details• Field-based Home Health RN position covering the Houston market,• Caseload is measured weekly, averaging 25-30 points per week,• Cases include general home health, wound care, and geriatric home health patients,• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM),• No weekend requirements,• On-call may be required at the discretion of the center,• Territory and county coverage will be discussed during the interview,• Charting is performed using Kinnser/WellSky; all charting must be completed on-site and cannot be taken home,• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient (does not include travel to or from home),Job Requirements• Active TX or compact RN license in hand - no pending licenses accepted,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2-3 years of home health experience required,• At least 1 year of clinical management experience required,• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in a home health agency,• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills,• Demonstrated decision-making ability,• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English,• Hepatitis profile required if making patient visits,• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained,Additional Information• This position is ideally suited for a candidate interested in a temp-to-hire opportunity,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted; candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility,• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial consideration - no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made,• Compliance onboarding may take 2-3 weeks; all required documents must be in order before the clinician can begin seeing patients,• Any color scrubs and closed-toe shoes are required,• Free parking is available on-site,• COVID and flu vaccinations are not required,
