This position is structured hybrid, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week in-office with flexibility on remaining days. On-site expectations may evolve over time to support business needs.Role OverviewClient is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Team, contributing to the development of scalable, secure, and resilient systems that support core platform services and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in platform engineering, cloud-native architectures, and automation testing, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend & API Development: Design and develop backend services and APIs to support platform operations, including release engineering, DevOps pipelines, and system integrations.Automated Testing & Quality: Implement and maintain automated testing (unit, integration, and smoke tests) to improve delivery confidence and reduce production risk. Embed quality gates into CI/CD workflows for reliable releases.Cloud & DevOps Integration: Utilize AWS and Azure cloud-native technologies (including Azure migration), DevOps tools, container orchestration, and platform observability tools.AI-Driven Engineering: Operate in an AI-driven SDLC environment and utilize AI code assistants like GitHub Copilot or similar tools.Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment and optimal performance of platform tools.Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure SLA adherence and rapid incident response (e.g., Datadog).Release Oversight: Support platform releases through validation, monitoring, and post-deployment oversight while driving engineering best practices and knowledge sharing across the domain.QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of software engineering experience.Languages: Proficiency in C#.Test Automation: Experience with tools like Postman, Bruno, SpecFlow, and Cucumber; end-to-end test automation covering APIs, batch processing, and big data validation.Architecture: Strong understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, and micro services architecture.Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / AKS preferred), Azure Cosmos DB with AI Search, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).DevOps Tooling: Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.Containers & Observability: Knowledge of container orchestration, release automation, and platform observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus).Preferred QualificationsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
