For more information, visit https://network.id.me/ .Role OverviewThe Senior Account Executive, Public Sector (SLED) is a high-impact role responsible for spearheading new business acquisition and strategic expansion within the State, Local, and Education markets. You will translate complex technical solutions into mission-critical outcomes for government agencies.Preferred locations: New York City, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Denver (with travel to customer meetings and events)Key ResponsibilitiesComplex Cycle Management: Lead and execute end-to-end sales cycles within the SLED market, including multi-department buy-in and RFP/RFI processes.Strategic Growth: Design and execute a territory play-book contributing to financial objectives and market leadership.Executive Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and Program Directors across state and local agencies.Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure pilot-to-production transitions and account health.Ecosystem Development: Leverage channel partners, system integrators (SIs), and lobbyists to accelerate market entry and deal velocity.Forecasting Excellence: Maintain a predictable sales pipeline with accurate quarterly forecasts in a long-lead-time market.QualificationsThe SLED Veteran: 7–15 years of success in technology sales, focused on SLED markets.Proven Track Record: Consistent history of over-achieving seven-figure quotas and closing landmark deals in government sectors.Procurement Mastery: Deep understanding of public sector procurement vehicles (e.g., NASPO, GSA, state contracts) and funding cycles.Existing Network: Ready-to-go book of business and contacts within key state and local agencies.Communication Mastery: Ability to distill complex technical value for both technical staff and non-technical stakeholders.Startup Agility: Experience thriving in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with proactive problem-solving.Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.The annual base salary range is listed with additional compensation and benefits determined by experience and location.ID.me offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, health accounts, life and AD&D insurance, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, unlimited paid time off subject to policy terms, holidays, disability insurance, and additional wellbeing and learning benefits.The above represents the anticipated total rewards package for this job requisition.
