2:00pm to 8:30pm Monday through Friday Immediate Opening Overtime as required Salary: $14.00+ per hour Email preferred : send resume to jennifer.jvrensburg@4assembly.com Attn: Jennifer Janse van Rensburg Please name your file; Resume_Name_date Fax: 301-631-0472 SMT Operator: Setup and operate assigned production equipment, using both automated equipment and manual placement, while achieving goals for quality, efficiency and productivity. Monitor the operation of equipment to ensure that assemblies are built to print and in compliance with applicable workmanship standards. Ensure that equipment and processes remain within acceptable parameters through monitoring and troubleshooting. Adjust machines or processes to correct problems. Assist with rework, hand soldering and advanced troubleshooting. Maintain necessary logs and records. Inspect printed solder paste and component alignment for accuracy. Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class. Perform daily machine maintenance activities for assigned production equipment as specified on the Preventive Maintenance schedules. Perform manual placement of SMT components. Load feeders for equipment and wash boards as needed. Perform other assignments as required. Generate reflow oven profiles and ensure recipes meet established parameters. Trouble shoot, optimize, and monitor placement machine performance. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the field. Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet Explorer, Machine Specific software. Basic understanding of SMT theories (i.e., reflow profiling, screen printing defects, etc.) Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical problems with assigned production equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings. Ability to read and understand production drawings. Use a variety of hand tools, including calipers. Basic component identification skills, including all applicable SMT packages. Recognize and identify the different types of solder paste and their applications. Ability to fulfill scheduled and unscheduled overtime requirements.
