Fortune 500 companies are scrambling to meet their climate targets & keep up with their regulatory obligations e.g. California SB 253 & 261 - EU's CBAM, CSRD, CSDDD, & Green Claims Directive.ORBEX is quickly evolving into the prominent registry for environmental (recycled) commodities and developer of Climate Compliance Solutions. We currently represent a critical mass of the US market of copper, aluminium, and ferrous metals and expanding into Europe & Asia.We created a unique opportunity within our management team for an experienced, innovative professional to take ownership of investor relations, build upon our existing high-impact partnerships, create transformative alliances, play a substantial role in driving our growth, and the realization of significant revenue.As our lead Finance & Strategy professional your primary objective will be to tap the private capital markets, drive & assist with strategic business opportunities with hyper-acute analytical thinking to exploit market opportunities we haven’t even thought of yet.We spent years building relationships and infrastructure to scale rapidly. Supply chain knowledge, deal expertise, and a deep bench of contacts in the manufacturing, automotive, consumer electronics, commodities, and/or metals industry would be a big plus. Creative inputs, strategic vision, the ability to work in teams, and subject matter confidence will win the day.Responsibilities:Develop and execute high-impact fundraising strategiesEngage in the full cycle of investor relations functions; closing investments with both existing investors and prospectsPlay a key role in supporting our strategic and financial planning processesHelp manage relationships with joint venture partners developing and provide strategic support to clients and account leadsEngaging in active substantive participation in client meetingsAssist in the formation of Derivative Products from our trade activities.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements and contracts, including transaction documentation, financing agreements, and collateral arrangements.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop innovative solutions that align with their business objectives.Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners and external consultants to identify emerging policy issues that relate to the industry and assess the potential impact to the company.Experience:· 10+ years in Financial Services, Strategy, and/or VC and M & A.· 2-5 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) with experience across, strategy and corporate development.· Working collaboratively across divisions and levels, both internally and externally.· Track record of driving growth of existing enterprise partnerships and leading/supporting corporate strategy.· Demonstrative Professional Career Progression.· Extensive network in corporate finance, vc, private equity, and the ability to competently navigate a challenging industry.Qualities:· Self-motivated with Entrepreneurial Savvy· Being intellectually curious and interested in the future of the planet, environmental commodities, financial services, and shaping an industryManaging complexity and leading multiple projects with an unrelenting focus and prioritizationBeing a thoughtful communicator who can express complex ideas in simple, practical terms for a wide range audience Mission-driven with integrity and ethical standardsTeam player who can work collaboratively internally, and externally and wear many hats.This organization runs fast and you’ll need to be able to keep up and contribute.This is a salaried position which includes an equity component
