Title: Junior/Fresher Manufacturing Engineer II - Robotic Weld Duration: 12 Months Location: Davenport, IA 52809 Shift: 3rd Shift – 10pm to 6amIntroductionWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer II specializing in robotic welding. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our fabrication department during the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate on their own and must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder working on W2.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience with manual and robotic welding systems, with Fanuc experience preferred.Experience with MES systems in a fabrication environment.Ability to support production through execution of new or existing processes.Ability to troubleshoot automated and manual processes.Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.Ability to troubleshoot manual welding fixtures, automated welding fixtures, and read manufacturing prints (GD&T).Ability to navigate ambiguous situations.Ability to work alone as well as in a group setting.Ability to follow up with communications, questions, or work tickets.Ability to document work and develop processes.Proficiency in using Excel and Outlook.Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with Continuous Improvement processes.Experience with SERA processes.Experience with repair processes or process documentation updates.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSupport operators, maintenance, and other salary support staff during 3rd shift operations.Troubleshoot MES systems, robot weld stations, manual weld stations, and other automated equipment or processes.Provide weekend support depending on production needs.Company Benefits & CultureOpportunities for professional growth and development.Inclusive and collaborative work environment.Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.For immediate consideration, please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
