Check out this new opportunity!Environmental Field Technician 1Huntington Beach, CAContract OpportunityWhat You'll Do:Perform fieldwork with all ADS product lines including, but not limited to the operation and maintenance of ADS flow monitoring equipment and SSES.Responsible for operating and maintaining all ADS issued equipment and vehicles associated with the above product lines.Installation of flow monitors within sewer linesInstallation of rainfall monitoring equipmentFlow monitor calibrationCollection of sewer flow and rainfall data and review for accuracyOperation and maintenance of flow monitors and rainfall gauges.Inspect manholes manually or with telemonitoring equipmentConduct flow isolations, smoke testing, dye water flooding and site inspectionMaintain accurate, legible and organized records in accordance to all ADS quality work instructions.Maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safety, mechanical soundness and productive operation.Adhere to all safety procedures and ADS policies/procedures.Travel and work overtime hours as required.Complete all required internal training modules and certifications.Other duties as required.Perform the function of the second person on the crew What You'll Need: Employee should complete company safety certification to Level 2 at a minimum and obtain a solid understanding of general field operations.Complete training in the company Core Flow Monitoring modules.Additional training may be required as other needs arise.Valid driver's license, drug-free, and acceptable background checkGood mechanical skillsBasic computer skills (Windows-based operating platform and Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word at aminimum)Manual dexterity and willingness to work outdoorsPhysical and cognitive ability necessary to do confined space entry and perform rescue operations whennecessaryBasic knowledge of electronics helpfulMust be able to function in a team environment and be capable of achieving daily productivity targetsMust be willing to travel and work in the physical conditions present in a sewer *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.
