This person will work to ensure the stability of IT systems infrastructure and services in the region. This person will ensure that other IT colleagues, teams, and 3rd party vendors deliver on commitments. Additionally, this role will assist on designing and testing program logic, coding programs, program documentation and preparation of programs for computer operations for manufacturing operation.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDeliver world-class white glove IT support to onsite and remote team membersQuickly resolve complex, break/fix issues in person for field team members.Perform installations, replacements, upgrades, and other hardware/software related tasks as needed.Setup and monitor high-priority meetings utilizing collaboration and AV services.Provide AV support for onsite video production.Provide recommendations regarding new standards to better IT support.Perform regular walkthroughs to provide proactive support to high visible individuals.Acts as a resource for IT support, projects, and other initiatives as needed.Receive and respond to incoming support requests in a timely manner including off hours.Follow set procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring IT operations.Set reasonable expectations that can be delivered on.Present the facts transparently to promote collaborative solutions.Provide IT system and software training to team members as needed.Creation of how-to documentation and work instructions as needed.Processing new service requests and hardware/software orders on behalf of company as needed.Managing IT our inventory, keeping track of stock levels, ordering new supplies as needed, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.Develops production schedules Codes, tests, debugs, documents and installs modified and new programs. Monitors production programs for expected performance and responds to errors and emergency problems. Works within specifications provided to meet programming assignment goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner. Takes independent action to correct problems encountered during systems operations within authority level granted by the VP of Operations. Maintains integrity of program logic and coding and establishes required checks and balances for operational controls. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of computer operating procedures and operating standards. Assists in studying and analyzing data processing functions, methods and procedures, and makes recommendations concerning the feasibility of revising existing programs or adapting new applications to data processing operations that will more effectively use MIS resources. Other duties may be assigned. Experience – Five (5) years of experience in help desk and/or end user support A minimum of 2 years' experience as a computer programmer/software development.Knowledge of manufacturing practices and applications Microsoft Excel & Access Advanced KnowledgeMS Office ProficientKnowledge of Visual Basic A, Database Query Functionality, Visual Studio, C + + Language, T-SQL, Barcoding, RFID, Bluetooth programming. Knowledge of data processing system design methods, techniques and standards.
