Data Analytics Intermediate Analyst Tableau SQL The Data Quality Intermediate Analyst is responsible for delivering subject matter and industry expertise across the enterprise in coordination with the Data Quality team. This role deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family.
Responsibilities Partners with business teams to develop process improvements, solutions, and streamline operational workflows
Applies professional judgment and attention to detail when interpreting data and results based on the analysis of information
May occasionally provide informal guidance or on the job training to new or lower-level team members
Communicates with tact and diplomacy to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information with project stake holders or internal parties
Works and coordinates with a multidisciplinary group of business leads, operations managers, and technologists
Report Data Quality issues through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
Defines detailed business data requirements and documenting them
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications 2-5 years' Experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred
Strong working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.) & SQL
Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated understanding of Database structures
Flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
