Sr. Technology Program Manager

Trinity Industries is searching for a talented leader to fill the open position of Senior Technology Program Manager in our Dallas, Texas office!The Senior Program Manager would partner with project leadership to plan and execute complex projects. Would be responsible for coordinating efforts across projects and operational teams to ensure projects align with organizational goals and regulatory guidelines leveraging best-practice principles and methodologies.Join our team today and be a part of Delivering Goods for the Good of All!What You'll Do:Provide wide-ranging experience and uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design mattersServe as a subject matter expert in Project Management process improvement and strategic planningWork on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsDetermine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnelNetwork with key contacts outside of area of expertiseProvide assistance to other staff with complex tasks that require considerable judgment and initiativeEscalate difficult/complex issues to supervisor/manager for resolution as deemed necessaryMentor other staff as applicableAssist with various projects as assigned by leadershipSupport the culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementWhat You'll Have:Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 8+years related IT Project/Program Management experience (experience and education combination will be considered also)PMI Project Management Profession (PMP) certification preferredAgile Project Management experience (SAFE, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) recommendedExperience with Project Portfolio Management Project Prioritization or Governance and functioning within a formal Project Management OfficeExperience with PPM tools to support planning and execution of projectsExceptional written and oral communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationProven track record of using PMI best practices in managing projects of all sizes and complexityProficient at drafting presentations and data driven reports.Experience facilitating large meetings, webinars, educational seminars with local and/ or remote participantsSolid analytic and problem-solving skillsAbility to juggle multiple priorities and clients simultaneouslyAble to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and strategic directions
