Apply via Dice today!What You'll Be Doing:Serve as the critical link between customer needs, market intelligence, and product innovationConduct deep industry research and engaging directly with mining and oil & gas stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities in screening and separation technologyLead Voice of the Customer (VoC) discovery sessions with plant managers, process engineers, and industry stakeholders to uncover hidden pain points and translate technical challenges into clear market requirementsConduct exhaustive research into minerals processing verticals to identify unmet needs and scout new marketsPartner with internal technical and R&D teams to bridge the gap between complex customer needs and product development priorities, translation insights from the field to guide innovation initiativesCollaborate with analysts and product experts to provide industry-specific assumptions and ROI data required to validate new innovation projectsDraft Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) that define market problems, use cases, and success metricsMonitor and synthesize key industry trends including ore grades, regulatory drivers, environmental pressures, and operating cost challenges to inform commercial and product strategyMaintain competitive intelligence on traditional and emerging competitors to support product positioning and innovation priorities across mining and oil & gas sectorsTravel up to 30% of the time to customer sites, field locations, and mining operations to maintain direct market pulse and strengthen industry relationshipsWhat You'll Need to Have:3-5+ years of direct hands-on experience in minerals processing, mining engineering, or industrial manufacturingDeep technical and commercial knowledge of mining operations, ideally with direct experience working in mines or education from a mining-focused programDirect experience with wet/dry screening technology or separation equipment is highly preferredProven ability to bridge complex engineering concepts and commercial valueExceptional written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to conduct high-level discovery sessions and aggregate complex information into actionable insights for leadership and technical teamsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mining preferred) or Business StrategyDemonstrated ability to quickly master new, complex industrial sectors and translate market knowledge into clear product requirements and business cases
