This position will be a 6-12 month contract, full-time, and remote. This position may require after-hours or on-call support, including weekends and evenings.Only work authorizations that will not require sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.What You'll DoEnsure application of systems thinking principles, allowing team members to independently design, code, test, and deploy softwareProvide the necessary documentation to support the Software Development Life CycleDevelop prototypes and solutions leveraging a diverse range of technologyApply modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilitiesEncode, test, and debug associated software/programsReview, analyze, and modify core and customized softwareRespond to customer inquiries/requests for technical/operational supportResolve technical matters to meet customer service level agreementsPerform root cause analysis/fixes or corrective action of defectsFollow documented Software Development Life-Cycle standardsParticipate in special projects and training, as requiredEscalate issues to senior levels as requiredWhat You'll NeedRequired:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field3+ years of experience within a professional software development environmentStrong understanding in the following areas:Java technologies using Java 1.4 and greater, JSP, XMLWeb Technologies, such as HTML, JavaScriptWeb services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSONAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, work instructions, process maps, and/or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of internal and external customersAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsBasic understanding of and willingness to learn and adopt professional and industry standardsCustomer service-drivenStrong team playerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person.Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Reasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824–8111.$47.00 – $50.00 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
