Mentorship and professional development training are a focus throughout your entire career.ResponsibilitiesAddress and maintain organization of all fixtures, fixturing, and sign holdersMaintain aisles for associates to walk downAddress and maintain sold and paid areas. Call customers if product has been in S&P for 7 days past the pick up dateWhen applicable fixturing may be transferred to and from offsite storage locationsSort pallets onto U-boatsConsistently check the freight room throughout the day for any product that needs to be brought upNotify applicable associates (SSM / Support) before transporting freight to the various departmentsFirearms are to be transported to the gun room immediately upon arrivalCoordinate with the support team for assistance if an area receives a large quantity of freightWork to clear freight room of all pallets each eveningCoordinate scheduling with Shop Managers and support for builds/movesEstablish product clearing expectations prior to the date of the eventAssembly/disassembly and movement of Opto walls, Lozier walls and Adams rackingComplete ownership of all wall building materials on 1st levelComplete Customer LoadoutsCompensation: Compensation for this position starts at $17.00 per hour.RequirementsCustomer ServiceGenuinely and consistently treat co-workers, customers and business partners like they are the most important person including eye contact, a smile and a genuine “Thank you”CultureApproach daily tasks, projects and follow-up communication with energy and sense of urgencyCultivate a deep desire to become a knowledge expert in their role with the ability to apply their knowledge and experience with great impactShow respect and appreciation for others and ScheelsArrive to work and meetings 10 minutes earlyTeam MentalityGenuine interest and action in helping others before yourself, regardless of recognition or rewardTeach-abilityConsistent eagerness to listen, learn, apply knowledge and accept critical feedbackAbility to adapt to a changing work environmentAbility to apply concepts of basic math, grammar, punctuation and spellingDress CodeMeets Scheels dress and grooming expectations in support of professional, clean and welcoming environment for customers, co-workers and business partnersEfficiencyDemonstrate pride and ownership of their work while meeting expected deadlinesEducation & ExperienceIdeal candidates will have a minimum of a High School diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Requirements/Lifting RequirementsMust be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.Very heavy work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
