Maintenance Technician
Summary:Performs maintenance work related to corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, work order requests, equipment installation, plant maintenance and project related work.Job Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery utilizing blue prints, schematics and root cause analysisAnalyze machine alarms and malfunctionsDiagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic failuresInstall and maintain new equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and advise operators on machine upkeep and maintenanceProject work including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC, wiring, painting, snow shoveling, construction furniture assembly and office/equipment movesOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Three or more years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician in a machining environment performing troubleshooting and preventative and corrective maintenance with at least one year working with CNC mills, lathes and turning centers utilizing common controls such as Fanuc and MitsubishiExperience in troubleshooting, repairing a variety of mechanical assemblies such as precision ball screws, spindles, headstocks, lube pumps, transmission, hydraulic systems, counter balance cylinders, etc.Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery through the use of blue prints, P&ID schematics and root/cause failure analysisDemonstrated knowledge of plant equipmentMust be able to occasionally lift as much as 50 lbs. and apply 50 lbs. of torque when assembling/reassembling equipmentGeneral plant and facilities maintenance experience including but not limited to, electrical (3 phase power), HVAC, plumbing, janitorial, welding and hydraulics preferredForklift and OSHA Certifications preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and skillset developed through multifaceted work and personal experienceDemonstrated ability to build rapport and professional relationships at all levels of MacKay ManufacturingIntermediate computer navigation and software skills including Outlook, Word, ExcelView full posting including physical, mental and environmental requirements at www.mackaymfg.com
