Dailysupervision will be provided by the County Director with administrative and programmingmatters led by the Regional Director and TSU ANR Program Leader.Duties Include Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs that include productionmanagement, marketing, and financial plan for cut flower growers Implement demonstration and/or variety trial plots Develop and implement the Master Floral Design Program (upon completion oftraining) Provide in-service trainings to agents Assist Central Region Master Gardener Programs related to floriculture Assist 4-H agents with 4-H floriculture and design judging programs Work with extension agents and researchers regarding new developments and trendsin the cut flower production industry. Develop a network of farmers through a regular newsletter and other marketingmethods Assume other duties as necessary due to vacancies or as assigned by the ProgramLeader or TSU Associate Dean of ExtensionMinimum QualificationsA master’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Floriculture or related field. Experience in Extension, teaching or working in a position involving commercial or home horticulture is preferred.
