Machine Operator

Career Start is currently seeking Machine Operators in Macedonia, OH. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the qualifications listed below. The Operator will be responsible for safely running, setting up, operating, and cleaning the post machine. This position ensures products are constructed according to customer and factory ticket specifications while complying with ISO quality standards and company safety regulations. Shifts: 1st - 6 am to 2pm Monday through Friday 2nd - 2 pm to 10 pm Monday through Friday 3rd - 10 pm to 6 am Sunday through Thursday Responsibilities of the Operator: Maintain a positive work environment by cooperating with management and coworkers. Recognize and follow product specifications on factory tickets. Perform consistent quality checks and make necessary adjustments to meet ISO quality standards. Set up, operate, adjust, and clean the machine, counter, and gluer per customer specifications. Complete required reports accurately and on time. Submit maintenance work orders for repairs and assist in proactive maintenance of equipment. Notify supervisor of any non-conformities or persistent issues that cannot be self-corrected. Implement and follow all safety procedures during the shift. Adhere to the production schedule and recommend optimizations to meet cost, quality, and service goals. Report unusual scheduling issues to the supervisor. Comply with all company policies, work instructions, and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements of the Operator: High school diploma or GED preferred. Three to six months of related experience preferred. Basic reading and writing skills. General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, whole numbers, and fractions). Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Ability to read and follow job orders specifying ink, plate, and material requirements. Ability to identify design placement from factory tickets. Ability to enter order specifications into company computer systems. Ability to cut material according to client specifications. #SP123 Pay: $18.50 - $18.75 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
