Collaborate with your team to deconstruct tasks into manageable, testable components, delivering high-quality solutions through Test-Driven Development and automated testing.ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Be DoingBuild low-latency, highly available, and performant applicationsBuild reusable code and libraries using test-driven developmentLogically identify and resolve issues using root cause analysisAdhere to our coding standardsUse proper branching and code review processesProvide estimates for the level of effort and time for completionTake part in and encourage your team to pair programWork closely with your team to build automated tests and ensure they are valuable and our applications meet expectationsWork closely with your team to break down features into small testable storiesAlways observant to find ways to improve our applications and how we workLearn continuouslyAddress security vulnerabilitiesAssist in the management of your team’s CI/CD pipelinesCommunicate effectivelyThis job description in no way implies that the duties listed here are the only ones that team members can be required to performQualificationsWhat You Bring to the Team Required:BS degree in Computer Sciences, programming or a related discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience3-5 years experience with Java or C#3-5 years experience with JavaScript, React, CSS, SASS or other CSS preprocessor, and HTMLExperience with SQL and relational databasesSolid understanding of GitFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and the necessary steps within a pipelineExpert understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles, Data Structures, and AlgorithmsExperience with Agile processes and workflowExperience (or open to) using Test-Driven Development (TDD)A strong desire to write testable code and work closely with your team team to ensure our applications are of the highest qualityFamiliarity with cloud infrastructureCapable of analyzing issues in existing code and providing root cause analysis as well as remedy optionsEager to learnPreferred:Familiarity with Docker and KubernetesExperience working with Google Cloud PlatformFamiliarity with TerraformExperience with feature flagsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time.
