Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities Draft, file, and serve Complaints, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional rules. Draft and file stipulations to continue trial dates, coordinating with opposing counsel and court schedules. Prepare ex parte applications in coordination with attorneys, ensuring proper notice and filing protocols. Discovery Management Draft and serve written discovery, including: Interrogatories (Form and Special); Requests for Production (RFPs); Requests for Admission (RFAs). Review and respond to discovery requests. Schedule and conduct client meetings to review responses and clarify factual content. Obtain signed verifications from clients. Prepare and serve supplemental discovery as the case progresses. Notice plaintiff and defense depositions, including PMKs (Person Most Knowledgeable). Draft and send meet and confer correspondence in coordination with attorneys to resolve discovery disputes. Trial & Arbitration Support Assist with the preparation and organization of trial and arbitration binders. Draft templates or “shells” for trial motions and pre‑trial filings. Review deposition transcripts for accuracy and identify key testimony. Coordinate exhibit preparation and support attorneys throughout trial prep. Learn and assist with the preparation and filing of Minor’s Compromise petitions. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation. Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of California Code of Civil Procedure, discovery rules, and trial deadlines. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Case Management Software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and court e‑filing systems. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients, court staff, and vendors. Organization: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage a high‑volume caseload, and adherence to litigation deadlines. Teamwork: Collaborative, solution‑oriented, and reliable under pressure. Language: Bilingual in Spanish is mandatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
