As part of our dedication to quality, we strive to foster innovation and deliver excellence in the food industry.Role DescriptionIn order for us to grow as a company and diversify our product, we need a "Taste and Food Specialist". This is a full-time, on-site role located in Capitol Heights, MD, for a Taste and Food Specialist. The responsibilities are (but not limited to) to contact exporters from Vietnam and the surrounding area to test new products in order to eventually import the product ourselves. This person needs to be familiar with Vietnamese food, cuisine, and the culture. Other responsibilities include planning and optimizing food products to meet flavor and quality standards. The candidate will actively collaborate with owners and upper management to uphold and increase the quality standard, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through personalization and refinement of taste experiences. This person needs to speak Vietnamese as well.QualificationsExperience in Food Preparation and Cooking, with a strong understanding of culinary techniques and practices.Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service operations in professional settings.Effective Communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients, and also needs to speak Vietnamese to some degree.Attention to detail, a passion for food innovation, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
