Oracle Cloud Security Engineer

Job Title: Oracle Cloud Security EngineerLocation: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)Required Skills5+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including IAM, VPC, Compute, Storage, Cloud Logging, and Security Controls.Strong experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) and Sentinel (Policy as Code).Experience implementing cloud security controls, guardrails, and secure-by-default configurations using CNAPP and native cloud policies.Experience securing Oracle PaaS environments, including network security, data security, workload isolation, and policy enforcement.Good understanding of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Storage, and Streaming services.Experience with cloud logging, monitoring, metrics, and XQL.Knowledge of cloud architecture with focus on high availability, security, and visibility.Programming experience in Java, Go, or Python.FinOps knowledge is a plus.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.Build and enforce Policy-as-Code frameworks using Sentinel and native OCI policies.Implement cloud security guardrails and collaborate with CNAPP teams to ensure secure cloud deployments.Secure Oracle PaaS services by implementing network, data, and identity security controls.Monitor cloud environments using OCI Logging, Metrics, and XQL for security and operational visibility.Troubleshoot Oracle cloud services and identify root causes for customer-reported issues.Ensure high availability, compliance, and security best practices across cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with cloud, security, and DevOps teams to improve cloud governance and automation.Develop automation tools and scripts using Java, Go, or Python to enhance cloud operations.
