Weekdays Monday-Thursday 2p-5p in Portland and Scarborough We seek a motivated Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to join our progressive and supportive team. What you'll do: Support children and youth in accessing their community and participating in activities as inclusively as their peers. Facilitate socializing and relationship-building in various settings. Assist children in learning everyday tasks like brushing their teeth, tying shoes, preparing snacks or meals, and managing emotional regulation. Provide services primarily after school between 2:00-8 PM, with the flexibility to adjust based on client needs. Daytime hours are available during holidays and summer vacations. Provide personalized, 1:1 support within the client's home and the nearby community. Safely transport clients using your reliable personal vehicle. Adhere to and implement the individualized treatment plan. Fill out daily progress notes. Requirements: (We will provide CPR/First Aid Training + Bloodborne Pathogens) - Clean driving record and successful background check - Active motor vehicle insurance and registration - High school diploma or equivalent qualification -Current CPR certification -Bloodborne Pathogens certification -One year of verifiable experience working with youth and children with cognitive and behavioral support needs. -BHP certification (will train qualified applicants) -Must obtain commercial auto insurance Job Type: Part-time Pay: $27.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Experience: Behavioral Health : 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Scarborough, ME 04074 (Required) Work Location: In person
