Service Desk Technician – Onsite (Day Shift)Pay: $25-$33/hr.Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift (Onsite)Location: Waltham, MAWe are seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Technician to support daily IT operations and assist with a major company-wide PC conversion. This role is ideal for someone experienced in ServiceNow, desktop support, and high-volume ticket environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Service Desk tasks in line with SOPs and ITIL practicesManage service delivery for assigned and regional sitesSupport PC lifecycle activities (install, move, add, change, refresh, dispose)Document incidents, hardware changes, and repairs in ServiceNowProvide on-site and shop floor IT supportTroubleshoot desktops, printers, mobile devices, and collaboration toolsAdminister antivirus and patch compliance (Tanium preferred)Maintain CMDB accuracy and IT inventoryResolve incidents and service requests, including root cause analysisSupport acquisition integrations and large-scale deploymentsDeliver end-user training and occasional VIP supportQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience and certifications3+ years in IT support or Service Desk rolesStrong experience with Windows 7/10/11 and desktop hardwareWorking knowledge of TCP/IP networking (ICND1 or equivalent)Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systemsFamiliarity with Apple, iOS, and Android devicesAbility to read technical documentation and SOPsPreferred SkillsITIL Foundations knowledgeStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExperience managing third-party vendorsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentEmployee BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceShort-term disability401k plansWeekly pay is available every FridayEmployee discount programsThis role will be heavily focused on a PC conversion project and incident support, requiring strong prioritization and adaptability.Staffmark is an equal opportunity employer.
