Account Executive

The Account Executive is a client-facing marketing expert responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing customized advertising strategies. This role partners closely with sales, creative, and operations teams to translate business goals into measurable marketing outcomes. The strategist focuses on planning, performance, and optimization across the full customer journey.Function as a trusted marketing strategist and advisor for assigned clientsLead discovery conversations to understand client goals, challenges, audiences, and competitive landscapesDesign integrated marketing strategies that align broadcast and digital tactics to business objectivesDevelop clear, insight-driven presentations and campaign recommendationsTranslate complex marketing concepts into actionable insights clients can understand and applyStrategically apply and optimize digital marketing solutions, including:Search Marketing (SEM & SEO)Programmatic Display & RetargetingReputation ManagementContent & Native AdvertisingMobile and Cross-Device TargetingPaid Social MediaEmail MarketingAnalyze campaign performance using data and reporting tools; optimize strategies to improve resultsCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate execution and timely delivery across all platformsSupport account growth through insight-led recommendations and performance reviewsSkills & Experience2–3 years of experience in marketing, digital strategy, advertising, or analytics (media experience preferred)Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skillsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of Google Analytics and digital ad platforms (DFP experience a plus)Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordEducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred but not required.Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
