This position is on site/in office and will report to our Design Director. The job description below is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assists design team with organization and filing of vintage samples and submitsMaintains the fabric/trim libraryAssists with updating linesheets as necessarySupports associate designer in putting together presentations and print commentsCreates mockups in photoshop and illustratorAssists the design team in trend research, colors, fabrics & trimsAssists the design team in creating embroidery and smocking tech packsBuilds collaborative relationships with cross functional team membersAssists with naming styles, colors and printsAssists with sketch updates, when necessaryOther projects as assignedSkills and Abilities:Experience working in CAD, Microsoft OfficeStrong illustrator, photoshop and indesign skills (adobe creative suite)Strong planning and organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsBroad knowledge of fashion with a focus on vintageA high level of ownership, accountability and initiativeAbility to prioritize competing projects and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAction oriented and results drivenMinimum Requirements Must be able to be in office a minimum of 3 days a week; full schedule to be determined with supervisors.Physical RequirementsMust be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodationPeriods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computerAble to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbsAble to walk, sit and stand for periods of timeAble to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phonesMust be able to access various areas of a given location* Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.* The DÔEN 2024 Internship Program is a 4 month paid project.Please email your resume to careers@shopdoen.com for consideration.Indicate title of position/role on the subject line
