Mechanical Technician (3rd Shift)

Overview Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician (3rd Shift) to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business. Salary: $20- $26/hr DOE ResponsibilitiesInterpretation of internal and client requirementsSupervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant disciplineOperating complex mechanical testing equipmentMaintaining accurate and systematic recordsPerforming other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratoryPerforming general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety systemApplication of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipmentReport writing, data interpretation and analysis Skills / QualificationsEducated to a good general standard including English and MathsDegree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related disciplineHands-on jobSound mechanical biasPrevious experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantageExperience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageousAn understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficialSelf motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratoryExcellent attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsA team player attitudeExcellent analytical and problem solving skills #LI-TF1 Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
