Brief DescriptionSummary: Position responsible for direct, basic and supportive care to clients in our short-term recovery programEssential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet Consumer and agency needs.Provides orientation to program, ie: rules and regulations, expectations.Provides an outlined daily schedule of activities.Provides transportation to and from appointments outside the residence.Provides oversight and intervention to consumers to ensure a safe and cooperative recovery environment.Attends and supervises all outside meetings and approved extracurricular outings, enforcing program rules.Records a detailed account of the consumers behavioral, medical and staff interactions in the daily shift notes.Maintains EMR and scans documentation into appropriate headers.Assists with cooking, laundry and other general household activities necessary to maintain sanitary conditions and general housekeeping upkeep.Offers a general account of the ending shift to the employees coming onto shift to ensure a smooth transition of care.Other duties may be assigned to meet consumer and agency needs.Complies with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulationsMaintains confidentiality of all information and complies with HIPAA regulationsDemonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.RequirementsQualification Requirements: Must work well in a team environment Work with staff, consumers and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful and effective manner.Education and/or Experience: Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background checks as well as post offer drug screen.
